My journey into photography began at a young age, around seven years old, when I started capturing family moments at barbecues and gatherings. Growing up in Halls Creek, professional photographers were rare, so my mother often documented important occasions such as weddings, birthday's and funerals. Each time she upgraded her camera, she passed her previous one on to me, giving me the opportunity to explore photography through my own lens.

I later studied photography while attending boarding school, where my passion continued to grow. After leaving school and many years later, I was asked to take photo's for my cousin's work of the Halls Creek Rodeo. She supplied the camera, I just needed to take the photo's. Which sparked that love I had for photography once again.

After the birth of my daughter, and becoming a stay at home mum, I decided to return to photography as a way to feel myself again after having a child & contribute to our family income. Photography allowed me to stay present with my daughter while spending my afternoons capturing love, family, and connection.
